MEXICAN CORN PANEER TOAST
Whole wheat bread provides a sufficient amount of fiber helping in various health issues. The whole wheat/ multi-grain base contains complex carbohydrates essential for curbing appetite and delaying hunger pangs. Addition of corn makes it healthier as corn kernel is a good source of vitamin A and also is known to aid in weight loss. Paneer and Cheese adds up the protein and calcium value
Main ingredients :
Whole wheat Bread | 100g |
Paneer | 50g |
Sweet corn | 50g |
Cheese | 25g |
Other Ingredients :
Onion | 20g |
Tomato | 20g |
Coriander leaves | 10g |
Butter | 10g |
METHOD :
• Heat oil in a pan. Add onions, tomatoes and sauté for one minute. Add corn, coriander, green chilies and salt and mix well and cook for one minute. Add the paneer and cook for one minute.
• Take two slices of bread and apply butter on one side of each bread. Spread the mixture evenly on one slice of the unbuttered side. Great some cheese over the mixture and close it with another slice of bread.
• Toast the bread in a toaster until it turns golden brown on both sides cut it diagonally into two pieces and serve hot
