  1.          6. LAUKI KOFTE
                                                                                                         
    Bottle gourd or Lauki promotes weight loss. The vitamins, minerals, and dietary fiber in the bottle gourd keep the body well-nourished and curb unnecessary appetite. It consists of approximately 96 percent of water and is, therefore, a great thirst quencher.
    Main ingredients:
     
Bottle gourd (Lauki)100g
Onion50g
Tomato50g

 

                 

Ginger10g
Green chili10g
Pepper powder10g
Coriander leaves10g
Milk10ml
Corn flour10g
Oil10g
Sugar10g
Cashew nut10g
Cardamom5g
Cinnamon5g
Clove5g
SaltAs per taste

METHOD: 
For the Lauki kofte, combine all the ingredients in a bowl and divide the mixture into two equal portions and shape them into small round koftas. Steam it in a steamer for about 20 minutes till the koftas are done. Keep it aside.
 Then blend the onions, ginger, and garlic to a smooth paste in a mixture. Keep it aside. Blend tomatoes to a puree in a mixer.
Dry roast cumin seeds in a pan for 10 to 15 seconds, and then add the onion, and ginger garlic paste and cook it until it becomes golden brown in color.
Add the tomato beauty, turmeric powder, chili powder, garam masala, vegetable stock, and salt and cook on a low flame for 10 minutes. Add the Koftas and cook in low flame for three to four minutes. So hot and garnished with coriander.
