DATE OATS GRANOLA BAR
Dates are natural sweeteners and provide the necessary sweetness to this wonderful dish. They are also rich in micronutrients such as iron and copper. Oats adds increased fiber to the dish. Inclusion of nuts and seeds makes the dish nutrient dense and adds texture.
Main ingredients :
Oats | 50g |
Dates (Seedless) | 20g |
Other Ingredients :
Pumpkin seeds | 10g |
Sunflower seeds | 10g |
Peanut Butter | 10g |
Raisins | 10g |
Honey | 10g |
METHOD :
Blend the dates in a blender until smooth without using water.
Dry roast the oats for five minutes in a pan and keep it aside. Dry roast almond, pumpkin seeds and sunflower seeds on a medium flame for three minutes and keep it aside.
Mix peanut butter and honey in a pan and cook for two minutes. Combine all the ingredients including the roasted oats, roasted almonds, pumpkin seeds and sunflower seeds, and keep aside.
Pour the mixture into a tray with butter pepper. And flatten it with your palm. When it is still warm, cut into rectangular bars and refrigerate for 20 minutes. Store it in an added container.
