.CARROT UTTAPAM
Rice is a source of complex carbohydrates while urad dal is a good source of protein and fiber. Adding carrot increases the vitamins and mineral content of the dish and also gives an attractive orange color
Main ingredients :
Rice Flour | 50g |
Black gram dal (Urad dal) | 30g |
Oats flour | 20g |
Carrot | 20g |
Oil | 10g |
Salt | As per taste |
METHOD:
Add rice and urad dal in a mixer and blend well. Transfer it into a bowl and add oats flour and mix it using water to form a battery consistency.
Let it ferment for few hours.
Then add greater carrots into the batter and mix well. Pour a ladder full of batter in a greased pan and spread it into a circular shape like a dosa.
Cook it on both sides until it turns Golden Brown in color and serve with your favourite chutney.
