DATE AND SESAME PURAN POLI
                                                                       
Dates are an excellent iron, potassium, calcium, manganese, copper, and magnesium source. Sesame seeds are a good source of antioxidants and dietary fiber. They are loaded with calcium.


Main ingredients
 

Dates100g
Wheat flour100g

Other Ingredients:    

Milk20ml
Sesame seeds10g
Brown sugar10g

  METHOD:
•  For the dough, mix whole wheat flour and milk in a bowl and knead it into a soft dough using water. Cover it with a lid and keep aside for 15 minutes.
•  Divide the dough into two equal portions and roll it out into a circle like roti.
•  For the filling, combine all the ingredients in a bowl and mix well. Divide the filling into two equal portions and keep one portion in the center of the roti.
•  Bring together all the sides in the center and seal tightly. Lightly press the sides using your finger and roll out again into a circular shape.
• Cook it on both sides in a greased pan until it turns golden brown and color. Spread ¼ tsp of ghee on each Puran poli and serve immediately.
